Implementation in your business

Next to your content calendar: you drop an idea (and an optional source link) into a sheet; it writes every format back to the same row.

Where it plugs in

Turns each idea into channel-native LinkedIn, X, blog (SEO title, meta, outline, draft) and newsletter content in your voice.

What it needs

  • n8n (Cloud or self-hosted)
  • Google Sheets
  • OpenAI API key
  • Brand, audience and voice notes (Config)

What it outputs

  • LinkedIn post + 3 hooks
  • X thread
  • Blog title, meta, outline and draft
  • Newsletter subject, preview and body

Time saved (estimate)

≈ 26 h

per month at 3 ideas a week, 150 min by hand vs 30 min review. See assumptions.

Setup: about 15 minutes on n8n Cloud

Three steps, no code. The setup guide has the full checklist.

Step 1 · 1 min

Pick the AI Content Marketer

Start the trial on Starter (this employee) or Workforce (all five). The download link and guide arrive by email.

Step 2 · 3 min

Import it

n8n Cloud or self-hosted: Workflows → Import from file. No n8n? Paste the instructions into a Custom GPT or Claude Project.

  • 1 workflow file
  • Sheet template (CSV)
Step 3 · 10 min

Connect your tools

Sign in once per service, then fill in the Config node with your details.

  • Google Sheets
  • OpenAI
  • Config: your details and rules

How it works

Import-tested and test-executed with stubbed services on n8n 2.44 before release.

Channel-native, not copy-paste. Each format has its own rules (length, hook, structure) so the LinkedIn post doesn't read like a blog intro.

No invented facts. The model may only use your idea, notes and source text. It's told to write around missing numbers, never to make them up.

You stay the editor. Everything lands in a sheet for review; nothing is posted.

What you get

  • ai-content-marketer.n8n.json: Ideas tab (status = new) → optional source URL fetch → LLM writes 4 formats + 3 alternative hooks → written back to the sheet.
  • No-code version: Custom GPT / Claude Project instructions
  • Prompt library, sheet templates and a PDF setup guide

What it's worth to you

The value is time: the employee does the first pass and you keep the review. Two worked examples, every input an assumption:

Estimates from the assumptions in the table, not measured results. Manual minutes = writing first drafts of all four formats yourself. Review minutes = editing the agent's drafts. No claims about reach, followers or traffic.

Questions

Can it post automatically?

It doesn't post. You can add n8n's LinkedIn or X nodes after review if you want.

Can I add more formats?

Yes: add a key to the JSON output in the prompt and a column to the sheet (e.g. `instagram_caption`).

Do I need n8n?

For the automated version, yes: n8n Cloud or the free self-hosted edition. Every employee also ships a no-code version for a ChatGPT Custom GPT or a Claude Project.

Does it act on its own?

It works in drafts and logs. Anything that reaches a customer, candidate or prospect is a draft you review and send.

What does it cost?

Starter is $19/month for this employee, Workforce $49/month for all five. Both have a 7-day free trial. You also pay your own AI usage (usually cents per item) and your n8n plan if you use n8n Cloud.

Guardrails

  • Review for accuracy before posting; you're the publisher.
  • Disclose AI assistance where the platform or your industry requires it.
  • Respect copyright: summarise and link sources, don't republish them.
